Mastek Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Mastek (UK) Limited, has secured a major engineering contract from the UK Home Office with an overall budget of around £85 million (over $110 million). The engagement will support the Home Office’s Migration and Borders Policy division by strengthening and modernising the ATLAS platform, a critical digital system used across the United Kingdom’s immigration and border operations.

The ATLAS platform serves as the core system for managing key immigration services, including visa and study routes, asylum casework, border force operations, and immigration enforcement activities. Through this contract, Mastek will deploy specialised engineering teams and advanced technology practices to maintain, support, and enhance the platform’s capabilities.

The project will focus on scaling the ATLAS system to ensure that its common components become more scalable, resilient, and highly available. The engagement will involve applying advanced engineering techniques along with AI-driven engineering accelerators to improve both human-led and automated casework processes while also supporting the broader modernisation of the platform.

Mastek expects the contract to expand further in the coming years as the UK Home Office plans to implement multiple complex migration and border policies through the ATLAS system. As a result, the company anticipates significant growth opportunities linked to this engagement.
