Macpower CNC Machines Limited has successfully completed the installation of a 550 KW Mega solar plant at its premises located in Rajkot, Gujarat. This addition brings the company’s total solar power capacity to 750 KW, significantly enhancing its renewable energy usage. The newly installed plant is expected to provide 85 to 90% power savings during daytime operations, thereby reducing daytime power costs and positively impacting the company’s margins.
This move is a key step towards making the company self-reliant in terms of captive power consumption through renewable energy sources. The initiative is aligned with Macpower’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to the prevention of greenhouse effects.
The company also aims to promote environmental sustainability through this renewable energy investment and has implemented a zero liquid discharge facility as part of its eco-friendly initiatives.
