Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced that its Minerals & Metals (M&M) business vertical has secured significant orders in the steel and alumina sectors, further strengthening its position as a leader in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry.

Alumina Refinery Project in Odisha:
- L&T has secured an order from Hindalco to establish an 850 KTPA (kilo tonne per annum) greenfield alumina refinery in Odisha.
- The scope includes engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of the refinery.
- This project extends L&T’s long-standing relationship with Hindalco, spanning over three decades across alumina, aluminum, and copper plant expansions.

8 MTPA Pellet Plant for a leading steel producer:
- L&T will set up an 8 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) pellet plant for a prominent steel company in India.
- The project involves engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation, in collaboration with leading technology providers.
