Pune, October 27 (Monday): Kranti Industries announced a strategic collaboration with Universal Autofoundry Limited, marking a major step toward strengthening its integrated manufacturing capabilities across India.

According to the company’s filing with the BSE, Kranti Industries has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jaipur-based Universal Autofoundry Limited to establish a long-term machining alliance in Rajasthan. The partnership combines Universal Autofoundry’s foundry expertise with Kranti’s precision machining capabilities, creating a unified, scalable manufacturing ecosystem for the automotive and engineering sectors.

Strategic highlights

Under the MoU, Universal Autofoundry will lease its machining premises in Sargoth, Rajasthan, along with associated plant and machinery, to Kranti. The facility will become the central machining hub as two existing machine shops are merged. Kranti will exclusively operate and manage this unit for machining components produced by Universal Autofoundry.

The collaboration, set to begin on January 1, 2026, will run for seven years, including a three-year lock-in period. It aims to boost operational efficiency, quality, and scalability while enhancing India’s localized manufacturing capabilities under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Expansion and significance

The partnership marks Kranti’s entry into Northern India, diversifying its presence beyond Western India. It also enables both partners to streamline logistics, improve delivery timelines, and unlock economies of scale.

Commenting on the deal, Sachin Subhash Vora, Chairman and Managing Director of Kranti Industries, said the collaboration “will strengthen our presence in Northern India while complementing our machining capabilities in the West… creating an integrated platform that enhances quality, efficiency, and customer service.”

Vimal Chand Jain, Managing Director of Universal Autofoundry, said the alliance will “streamline operations, enhance quality and delivery, and foster innovation and scalable growth.”

The announcement comes as Kranti Industries continues to expand its footprint in the automotive and engineering manufacturing ecosystem, aligning with its Vision 2030 roadmap for sustainable and diversified growth.
