Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS) has signed an Operations and Management (O&M) Agreement with Splendid Hospitals Private Limited in Hyderabad, Telangana. The agreement is for an initial term of seven years, with an option to extend for three more years.
Under this agreement, KIMS will exclusively manage, operate, and control the hospital, ensuring seamless medical services and operational efficiency. Splendid Hospitals is developing a state-of-the-art 150-bed hospital, with plans to expand to 200+ beds, covering a 1,60,000 sq. ft. area. The hospital is expected to commence operations in June 2025 and will be equipped with cutting-edge medical infrastructure and diagnostic equipment.
As per the agreement, KIMS will receive a revenue fee of 9% on the total net revenue generated by the hospital. Additionally, KIMS will have the First Right of Refusal (ROFR) on any equity transfer by Splendid’s shareholders. This also provides KIMS with the option to acquire up to 100% equity in Splendid Hospitals during the agreement period.
