Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Limited reported a steady rise in revenue but a sharp decline in profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26).

The company’s revenue from operations grew 23.6% YoY to Rs 960.7 crore, up from Rs 777.3 crore in Q2 FY25. Total income stood at Rs 964.9 crore, compared to Rs 782.3 crore a year earlier.

However, profitability took a hit as the net profit attributable to owners of the company dropped 43% YoY to Rs 66.9 crore, compared with Rs 117.4 crore in the same quarter last year. Sequentially, profit also declined from Rs 78.6 crore in Q1 FY26.

Total expenses rose significantly to Rs 867.8 crore from Rs 620.1 crore YoY, driven by higher employee benefits, medical consumables, and administrative costs. The company’s EBITDA margin narrowed due to the increased cost base, even as revenue momentum remained strong across hospitals.

For the half year ended September 2025, KIMS reported total income of Rs 1,843 crore, up from Rs 1,475 crore last year, while net profit attributable to owners stood at Rs 145.5 crore, compared to Rs 194 crore in the same period last year.

The company continues to focus on expanding its hospital network and capacity additions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to strengthen its leadership in the southern healthcare market.
