Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) has recently informed exchanges that the company has increased its stake in its material subsidiary, Sunshine Hospital, from 2.21% to 66.35%. This acquisition, worth Rs. 36.88 crore, was made through a secondary purchase.
Sunshine Hospital has recorded consistent financial performance over the past three years, with standalone turnovers of Rs. 307.88 crore in FY24, Rs. 279.97 crore in FY23, and Rs. 317.09 crore in FY22. The hospital, while primarily focused on orthopedic care, offers a wide range of healthcare services that cater to various specialized medical needs.
This acquisition is another step forward in KIMS’ long-term strategy to expand its footprint in the healthcare industry and strengthen its leadership in offering high-end medical treatments.
