Inox Wind Limited (IWL), one of India’s leading wind energy solutions providers, announced that it has secured new orders totaling 229 MW, reinforcing its strong position in the renewable energy sector and expanding its project pipeline.
The company received a 160 MW order (comprising a 112 MW firm order with an option to extend by 48 MW) from a leading Indian independent power producer (IPP). The order is for the supply of Inox Wind’s state-of-the-art 3.3 MW wind turbine generators, to be deployed across multiple sites in India. The contract also includes limited-scope EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) services along with long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) support after commissioning.
In addition, Inox Wind has secured a repeat order of 69 MW from another prominent renewable energy developer, which is part of a large global clean energy group, for a project in Maharashtra. This follows a 153 MW order placed earlier in March 2025 by the same customer, showcasing the growing confidence and partnership between both companies.
