Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a leading provider of wind energy solutions in India, has received a repeat order for 87 MW from Continuum Green Energy Private Ltd. for the deployment of its advanced 3 MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). This turnkey project, which will be implemented in Gujarat and Rajasthan, reinforces the ongoing partnership between Inox Wind and Continuum Green Energy, a prominent renewables company in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector. As part of the agreement, Inox Wind will also provide multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services following the commissioning of the project.
This latest addition increases the cumulative orders from Continuum to approximately 700 MW, enhancing Inox Wind’s order book to a record-breaking 3.4 GW. The new order highlights Inox Wind’s capacity to meet the rising demand for renewable energy solutions, particularly as developers adopt hybrid, round-the-clock, and flexible demand renewable energy (FDRE) strategies that incorporate substantial wind capacity.
Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of Inox Wind, expressed his satisfaction with the growing collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to announce yet another order from Continuum, an esteemed customer with whom we enjoy a very strong partnership. Our state-of-the-art 3 MW turbines and our exceptional turnkey wind capabilities continue to be strongly preferred by project developers.”
