Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, closed the calendar year 2024 with a significant achievement, selling 59,11,065 (5.9 million) motorcycles and scooters. This marks a 7.5% increase from the 54,99,524 units sold in 2023.
The company also posted a stellar performance in its global business, achieving 49% growth. Hero MotoCorp launched eight new models catering to regional preferences and expanded its presence in Southeast Asia and Brazil.
A key focus for the company in 2024 was electric mobility, with the VIDA V1 e-scooter driving over 46,662 units in sales. The company now operates more than 3,100 charging points across India, ensuring a smoother riding experience for customers.
Hero MotoCorp’s strategic partnerships, including expanding collaboration with Harley-Davidson, further solidified its growth trajectory. The company also plans an exciting range of new product launches in 2025, including electric vehicles and premium motorcycles, aligning with evolving market needs.
Hero MotoCorp’s commitment to sustainability was highlighted by improvements in its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) metrics, as it received high recognition globally.
