This contract is part of the Indian Railways’ broader mission to enhance rail safety through the deployment of Kavach, a system designed to prevent collisions by automatically applying brakes in case of signal violations or any other safety breaches. HBL Engineering, a domestic entity, has been tasked with delivering this critical safety infrastructure on one of the busiest rail corridors in the country.

The company has confirmed that none of the promoters or promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not fall under the category of a related party transaction.

This significant win reinforces HBL Engineering’s position as a key player in India’s railway modernization and safety initiatives.
