Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has issued an official clarification regarding recent media reports surrounding an alleged incident involving the LCA Tejas fighter aircraft. The company stated that there has been no crash of the LCA Tejas and described the event as a minor technical issue that occurred on the ground.
The clarification comes after certain media reports suggested a possible accident involving the indigenous fighter jet. HAL confirmed that the situation did not involve any crash and emphasized that the aircraft remains safe.
The LCA Tejas programme, developed and manufactured by HAL, is one of India’s flagship defence aviation projects. According to the company, the aircraft continues to maintain one of the world’s strongest safety records among contemporary fighter jets.
