Gujarat Alkalies commissions Spray Dryer at PAC plant in Vadodara to boost production capacity

Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Limited (GACL) has recently informed exchanges that the company successfully commissioned a Spray Dryer at its Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) plant in Coelho Complex, Vadodara, on February 4, 2025. This new addition is set to enhance the overall plant capacity utilization, as it will convert a portion of liquid PAC into PAC powder.

Previously, the company had informed the stock exchanges about the commissioning of its 32,000 TPA (Tons Per Annum) PAC plant, with 18% PAC content, on August 1, 2018. This recent upgrade aims to improve production efficiency and meet growing demand for PAC in various industrial applications.

In the exchange filing, Gujarat Alkalies shared, “The company had successfully commissioned 32,000 TPA of Poly Aluminium Chloride Plant (18% PAC) at Coelho Complex, Vadodara, which had informed to the stock exchanges vide our letter dated 01.08.2018.”

In the meantime, Gujarat Alkalies shares opened at 683.00, reaching a high of 692.50 and a low of 674.00 today. The stock’s 52-week high stands at 900.00, while its 52-week low is 645.00.
