GPT Infraprojects Limited has announced a significant contract win worth ₹53.6 crore from the South Eastern Railway. The order has been awarded by the Principal Chief Materials Manager (PCMM) and involves the manufacture and supply of 1,42,400 concrete sleepers from the company’s Panagarh facility in West Bengal. These sleepers will be supplied to the Ranchi and Kharagpur divisions, supporting ongoing infrastructure development within the railway network.
The project carries a 24-month execution timeline, underscoring a steady pipeline of revenue visibility for the company. GPT Infraprojects confirmed that the contract is entirely domestic and clarified that neither the promoter group nor any related group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The order also does not fall under related-party transactions, reaffirming that it has been obtained on an arm’s-length basis.
This new contract strengthens GPT Infraprojects’ position in the railway infrastructure segment and highlights the company’s ongoing contribution to India’s expanding transportation network.
