Godrej Properties Limited (GPL), one of India’s prominent real estate developers, has pushed its growth momentum further by acquiring a sprawling 75-acre land parcel in Nagpur. With this deal, the company has already surpassed its FY26 business development guidance of ₹20,000 crore, marking a key milestone well ahead of schedule.
This newly acquired land will be developed mainly into plotted residential units, offering an estimated saleable area of around 1.7 million square feet. The site comes with a strategic advantage, sitting close to the Samruddhi Mahamarg and the MIHAN SEZ, two of Nagpur’s most important connectivity and economic hubs. Its proximity to the Nagpur–Hyderabad Highway and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport further strengthens its appeal for future homebuyers and investors.
The surrounding area is already supported by a strong social infrastructure that includes established hospitals, educational institutions, retail centres, and entertainment options. This makes the location not just convenient but also highly suitable for a planned, modern township.
Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties, stated, “Nagpur continues to strengthen its position as an important centre for infrastructure and industrial development, supported by improving connectivity and rising residential demand. This acquisition marks another significant step in our expansion journey as we look to strengthen our presence in emerging real estate markets across India. We look forward to developing a quality plotted township that creates long-term value for its residents, aligned with our evolving aspirations.”
