Firstsource Solutions Limited has strengthened its presence in the US healthcare services market with the acquisition of 100% ownership in Jaye Inc., operating as TeleMedik. The transaction has been executed through its step-down subsidiary, Firstsource Health Plans and Healthcare Services, LLC, in line with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
The acquisition involves a cash consideration not exceeding USD 3.0 million, inclusive of upfront payments and performance-linked earn-outs. Following the completion of the deal on January 13, 2026, TeleMedik has become a subsidiary of Firstsource HPHS and, in turn, a step-down subsidiary of Firstsource Solutions.
TeleMedik is a Puerto Rico-based outsourced service provider focused on healthcare and telehealth solutions, catering primarily to the US healthcare contact centre segment. Established on December 26, 1995, the company has built a steady operating track record over nearly three decades, serving both healthcare providers and payers across the US ecosystem.
From a financial perspective, TeleMedik has demonstrated consistent revenue growth over the past three years. The company reported revenues of USD 12.7 million in calendar year 2022, which increased to USD 14.2 million in 2023 and further rose to USD 14.8 million in 2024. Its operational presence spans Puerto Rico and the broader United States, positioning it as a strategic asset for Firstsource’s healthcare services portfolio.
The acquisition does not fall under related party transactions, and there is no involvement or interest from the promoter, promoter group, or group companies of Firstsource Solutions. Additionally, no governmental or regulatory approvals were required to complete the transaction, enabling a swift execution and closure.
Strategically, this move aligns with Firstsource Solutions’ objective of expanding and deepening its capabilities in clinical care services while enhancing access to the US provider and payer ecosystem. By integrating TeleMedik’s telehealth and healthcare contact centre expertise, Firstsource aims to strengthen its end-to-end healthcare offerings and accelerate growth in one of its key global markets.
