Exide Industries Q4 FY25 Results: Revenue rises 3.5% YoY to Rs 4,159 crore, Net Profit down 10.21% YoY

Exide Industries reported its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, registering standalone revenue of ₹4,159 crore, up 3.5% year-on-year and 8.1% sequentially. The growth was driven by strong demand in the replacement market and recovery in industrial infra segments.

EBITDA for Q4FY25 stood at ₹467 crore, rising 4% quarter-on-quarter, although down from ₹516 crore in the same period last year. Margins were impacted by rising input costs, especially the price surge in antimony and other raw materials. EBITDA margin for the quarter moderated to 11.2%.

For the full year FY25, revenue rose to ₹16,588 crore from ₹16,029 crore in FY24. Full-year EBITDA stood at ₹1,893 crore, with a PAT of ₹1,077 crore. The Board has proposed a final dividend of ₹2.00 per equity share for FY25.

Exide highlighted buoyant replacement demand for 2W and 4W batteries, solid performance in industrial UPS and solar segments, and improving traction in infra-related businesses. However, softness in the Home-UPS and Auto OEM segments remained due to seasonality and muted vehicle demand.
