Gurugram-based Exicom, one of India’s leading EV charging and critical power solutions manufacturers, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ionage Technologies to establish a neutral and unified EV charging network across the country.
Announced on March 26, the collaboration aims to integrate Exicom’s extensive charging hardware with Ionage’s advanced software platform. The combined solution will enhance discoverability, operational efficiency, and user convenience for electric vehicle users, fleet operators, OEMs, and Charge Point Operators (CPOs).
With over 1.75 lakh chargers already installed across India, Exicom’s alliance with Ionage is expected to create a seamless cross-network charging experience. Users will no longer need to track multiple apps to find chargers, while CPOs will benefit from real-time diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and optimized management tools.
“This collaboration will not only help address the challenges users face in accessing charging stations but also strengthen the EV charger ecosystem,” said Anshuman Divyanshu, CEO of Exicom’s EVSE business.
Ionage CEO Vimal Kumar V added, “Together, we aim to build an integrated platform that benefits both operators and users, and drives the future of sustainable mobility.”
This move comes as India accelerates its push toward 30% EV penetration by 2030 and signals growing industry consolidation for better charging access and efficiency.
