Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL), one of India’s leading infrastructure and EPC companies, has announced that its joint venture with RBL (DBL-RBL JV) has been declared the L-1 bidder for a major metro rail construction project in Gurugram, Haryana.

The tender was floated by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), and DBL-RBL JV has secured the lowest bid for the development of a viaduct and elevated metro stations across a key stretch of the city.

The scope of work includes the construction of a viaduct and 14 elevated stations starting from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9, with extensions including a spur to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 km), a ramp to the depot at Sector 33, and an underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk. The total project length is approximately 15.22 km, excluding pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and architectural finishing works.

The project also forms a vital segment of the broader Gurugram Metro Corridor, which spans 26.65 km between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City, plus a spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway.

The total contract value stands at ₹1,503.63 crore (inclusive of GST), and the completion timeline has been set for 30 months from the commencement date. The project will be executed on an item-rate basis.
