Diamond Power secures Rs 175 crore order from Associated Power Structures for AL-59 conductor supply

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (Dicabs) has received a Letter of Intent from Associated Power Structures Limited for the supply of AL-59 conductors, as per the technical specifications set by GETCO. The order, valued at approximately Rs 175.17 crore, marks a significant milestone for the company in the power transmission sector.

According to the disclosure filed with the stock exchanges, the project involves supplying conductors for various 400kV and 220kV transmission lines across different locations. The execution will be carried out in phases, with the deliveries expected to be completed between May and November 2025. The contract has been awarded on a kilometre-rate basis, incorporating a price variation formula to ensure efficient project execution.

Dicabs, one of India’s oldest manufacturers of cables and conductors, has been steadily expanding its footprint in the power infrastructure space. The company, which was acquired through the NCLT process by the GSEC-Monarch Group, has been re-commissioning its production facilities and expects to complete the process by September 2025.

The latest order strengthens Dicabs’ presence in the domestic power transmission market, reaffirming its capabilities in high-voltage conductor supply. The company has an extensive manufacturing facility in Vadodara and has served customers across more than 12 countries. This contract is expected to contribute positively to Dicabs’ financial performance and growth trajectory in the coming quarters.
