Cyient DLM signs MoU with Arcedo Systems to establish 500 kWp Rooftop Solar Power Plant

Cyient DLM, a leading integrated electronics manufacturing company, has signed MoU with Arcedo Systems, a prominent renewable energy solutions provider, to establish a 500 kWp rooftop solar power plant at its Mysore facility. This collaboration underscores Cyient DLM’s dedication to sustainability and advancing its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives.

Under this agreement, Arcedo Systems will manage the design, engineering, installation, and maintenance of the solar power plant. Operating under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Cyient DLM will procure the solar energy generated on-site, significantly reducing its reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

The project promises substantial cost savings for Cyient DLM while reinforcing India’s renewable energy goals. By integrating solar power into its operations, Cyient DLM not only reduces its carbon footprint but also sets a benchmark for sustainable practices in the electronics manufacturing industry.

This initiative aligns with India’s mission to promote solar energy adoption in industrial sectors, demonstrating Cyient DLM’s proactive approach to environmental stewardship.
