Colab Platforms Limited has officially incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary named Colab Intelligence Private Limited, according to a corporate filing submitted to BSE on 13 December 2025. The Certificate of Incorporation was issued on 12 December 2025 by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
What is Colab Intelligence Pvt Ltd?
As per the company’s disclosure (Annexure A, page 2), Colab Intelligence Pvt Ltd has been created with an authorised share capital of Rs 25,00,000, divided into 2,50,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each. Colab Platforms has subscribed to 100% of these shares, making it a fully owned subsidiary.
What will the new subsidiary do?
According to the document (page 2, point 3–4):
- The subsidiary will operate in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud-infrastructure software, platforms, and services.
- It is intended to be a strategic engine for expansion, enabling design, development, and deployment of next-generation digital tools, machine learning solutions, automation workflows, and data analytics systems.
Why was this subsidiary formed?
The press release on page 3 states that Colab Intelligence is designed to accelerate the company’s entry into the USD 200-billion global AI sector, projected to grow beyond USD 1.8 trillion by 2030.
Managing Director Puneet Singh Chandhok emphasised that the move reflects Colab’s commitment to “future-ready innovation”, expanding into scalable sectors and strengthening the company’s AI-led technology roadmap.
