CESC Limited reported its consolidated financial results for Q2 FY25, showing revenue growth and a slight increase in profit compared to the same period last year. Key highlights include:
- Revenue: The company’s consolidated revenue from operations rose 6.6% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹4,700 crore in Q2 FY25, up from ₹4,352 crore in Q2 FY24. Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), revenue decreased by 3.8% from ₹4,863 crore in Q1 FY25.
- Profit: Profit for the period increased by 2.8% YoY to ₹373 crore, up from ₹363 crore in Q2 FY24. However, profit declined by 3.9% QoQ from ₹388 crore in Q1 FY25.
For the six months ended September 30, 2024, CESC reported consolidated revenue of ₹9,563 crore, up from ₹8,662 crore for the same period last year, while profit stood at ₹731 crore, compared to ₹761 crore, reflecting a slight YoY decrease in profitability.
