Ceigall India Ltd. has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the development of the 6-lane Greenfield Southern Ludhiana Bypass. The project extends from the intersection with NH-44 near Village Rajgarh to the intersection with the Delhi-Katra Expressway (NE-5) near Village Ballowal, covering a total stretch of 25.24 km. This infrastructure initiative is a crucial part of the Ludhiana-Ajmer Economic Corridor and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) with a tenure of 24 months.

The estimated project cost as per NHAI stands at ₹864.97 crore, while the bid price secured by Ceigall India Ltd. is ₹923.00 crore. This project was previously awarded to the company in June 2022 at a bid cost of ₹702.00 crore. However, due to the non-availability of the construction site, the award was amicably revoked.

With the latest LOA, Ceigall India Ltd. reinforces its commitment to developing critical highway infrastructure in India. The project is expected to enhance connectivity and ease traffic congestion, promoting economic growth in Punjab. The company will continue to provide updates on further developments related to the project.
