Castrol India Limited announced on Monday, July 7, that its Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Ms. Mrinalini Srinivasan as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Wholetime Director (Additional Director). Her term will begin on July 28, 2025, for a period of five years, subject to shareholder approval.

The board also noted that Mr. Vishal Thakkar, who has been serving as interim CFO since June 12, 2025, will step down at the close of business on July 27, 2025.

According to the company’s filing, Ms. Srinivasan brings over 17 years of experience at Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Limited (P&G India), where she held finance leadership roles across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Most recently, she served as CFO for P&G India’s Hygiene and Health business and also as Group Controller. She is also known for her advocacy of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at P&G.

Ms. Srinivasan holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Shri G.S. Institute of Technology and Science, Indore.

The company stated that she is not related to any director or key managerial personnel of the company, and she is not debarred from holding office by any regulatory authority.

The board meeting to approve this decision began at 2:20 PM IST and concluded at 2:30 PM IST on July 7, 2025.
