Bondada Engineering Limited has received a major EPC contract from NTPC Green Energy Limited, marking its first order from the NTPC group’s green energy subsidiary. The contract involves Balance of System (BOS) works for a 300 MW solar photovoltaic project at Lalitpur and will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode, along with Operations and Maintenance services for a period of three years.

The order has been awarded by a domestic public sector entity and covers the complete scope of design, engineering, site development, manufacturing, inspection at suppliers’ works, supply, insurance, transportation, storage, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar power project. The execution timeline for the project is 15 months from the receipt of the Letter of Award.

The total consideration for the contract stands at ₹391.38 crore, inclusive of GST. As disclosed by the company, neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in NTPC Green Energy Limited, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.

With this order, Bondada Engineering’s total EPC orders in hand have reached approximately 3.3 GW, strengthening its order book visibility and providing execution momentum for the coming quarters.
