Bondada Engineering bags first order in railway sector worth Rs 228.17 crore from South Central Railways

Bondada Engineering Limited has achieved a significant milestone by securing its first order in the railway sector. This accomplishment highlights the company’s expertise in delivering advanced infrastructure solutions while reinforcing the trust placed by clients.

The order, awarded by South Central Railways, involves ground infrastructure works for the provision of Kavach and 4G LTE-R high-density networks, along with pile foundation construction for towers.

This project marks an important step in strengthening railway safety and connectivity, aligning with the industry’s modernization efforts. The awarded contract, valued at ₹228.17 crore (including GST), is set to be executed within 720 days from the appointed date. As railway networks expand and upgrade across the country, this venture underscores Bondada Engineering’s commitment to contributing to India’s infrastructural growth.

In the meantime, on January 24, Bondada Engineering Ltd. announced a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a 100MW hybrid renewable energy plant in Assam. The project, valued at approximately ₹450 crores, will be executed by Bondada Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The MoU was signed at the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit 2025, with Bondada’s Chairman and Managing Director and Assam’s Education Minister in attendance. This initiative aligns with India’s renewable energy goals, aiming to boost clean energy adoption in the region.
