Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd (KSSL), a 100% subsidiary of Bharat Forge Ltd, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with AM General at IDEX 2025. This marks the first-ever supply of Made-in-India artillery cannons to the United States, showcasing India’s growing role in global defence manufacturing.
KSSL, known for its cutting-edge artillery solutions, had earlier partnered with AM General to co-develop next-generation artillery systems, including mounted, towed, and ultra-light guns in both 105mm and 155mm calibers. This agreement strengthens India-U.S. defence ties and highlights India’s emergence as a reliable supplier of advanced weaponry.
