Allied Digital secures additional Rs 80 crore contract for Pune surveillance project

Allied Digital Services Limited has recently informed excahgns that the company secured an additional contract worth approximately Rs. 80 crore for the implementation of a CCTV-based surveillance system in Pune. This project focuses on enhancing safety measures in the city’s ghats, hills, tekdis, and other secluded areas that have seen rising security concerns due to limited infrastructure and difficult terrain.

The scope of the contract includes the design, supply, and maintenance of a system aimed at improving surveillance and emergency response capabilities. Key components of the project include high-definition CCTV cameras, upgraded lighting, public announcement systems, emergency call boxes, and support for police patrols using vehicles and drones. These measures are intended to improve safety for residents and visitors, particularly women and senior citizens.

This initiative follows an earlier contract under the Pune Safe City Project, announced in October 2024, which had a contract value exceeding Rs. 430 crore. With the addition of the current project, the total value of Allied Digital’s engagements in Pune now surpasses Rs. 500 crore. Both contracts are part of broader efforts to strengthen urban safety infrastructure in the region.
