Allcargo Logistics Limited has announced a major transformation of its domestic supply chain operations with the launch of Allcargo Extended Reach (AER), following the approval of its organisational restructuring plan. AER replaces and upgrades the company’s earlier Extra Serviceable Stations (ESS), marking a significant step in expanding nationwide accessibility, improving service reliability, and deepening presence in emerging and underserved markets across India.
With the rollout of AER, Allcargo Logistics has achieved 100% coverage of available PIN codes in India, expanding its mapped network from around 21,000 to more than 32,000 PIN codes. This growth is driven by detailed location mapping that breaks down each Government of India PIN code into granular service clusters, allowing for more precise and efficient distribution. At the same time, the company has more than doubled its direct serviceable PIN codes, increasing them from about 4,900 to over 10,000. These locations are now served directly through Allcargo Distribution Centres, significantly enhancing delivery speed, reliability, and overall operational efficiency.
The expansion comes at a time when India’s logistics demand is rapidly moving beyond major metropolitan areas. Tier II, Tier III, Tier IV, and remote regions are increasingly emerging as high-growth consumption hubs. Through AER, Allcargo Logistics is now able to provide seamless access to some of the country’s most challenging and remote locations, including Port Blair, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, the Western Ghats, and the Northeastern belt. This wider reach is expected to strengthen last-mile delivery capabilities and help customers across industries enter new markets with greater consistency and predictability.
