Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) reported a steady rise in its operational performance for June 2025 and the first quarter of FY26.
In June 2025, the company handled 41.3 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo, marking a 12% year-on-year growth. This increase was largely driven by a 15% rise in container volumes.
For the quarter ending June 30, 2025, APSEZ recorded a total cargo volume of 120.6 MMT, reflecting an 11% year-on-year increase. Container volumes during the quarter showed a strong 19% growth.
The company’s logistics operations also showed positive momentum. In June 2025, rail volumes reached 62,146 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), up 14% year-on-year. GPWIS (general purpose wagon investment scheme) volumes for the month stood at 2.21 MMT, a rise of 18% compared to the same period last year.
For the full quarter, logistics rail volumes were reported at 179,479 TEUs, a 15% year-on-year increase. GPWIS volumes for the quarter came in at 6.05 MMT, reflecting a 9% growth year-on-year.
