Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) has announced the groundbreaking of the Adani Logistics Park in Kalamassery, Kochi, a major milestone under the Invest in Kerala initiative. The project will be formally inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, marking a transformative step in positioning Kerala as a logistics and industrial hub.
The park, spread across more than seventy acres, is strategically located in Kochi, a city that has been rapidly emerging as a hub for industrial and logistics activity. Designed to cut down transportation costs and improve just-in-time operations, the facility will also enhance export capabilities across multiple sectors, including e-commerce, FMCG, FMCD, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and retail.
With an investment commitment of over ₹600 crore, Adani Ports is introducing a modern logistics ecosystem that combines efficiency, technology, and sustainability. The Kochi park will feature EV charging stations, digitally integrated operations, and smart logistics solutions that are aimed at reducing environmental impact while providing seamless supply chain support. Along with strengthening industrial competitiveness, the project is expected to generate over 1,500 jobs, creating new opportunities for local employment and skill development. The logistics park will also provide a platform for small and medium enterprises to grow by becoming part of a stronger, more connected supply chain.
The development of the Adani Logistics Park is not only a major boost to Kerala’s infrastructure but also a symbol of the state’s growing appeal for global and domestic investors.
