
Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Limited, a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has successfully commissioned a 212.50 MW solar power project in Khavda, Gujarat. The decision to commission the plant was finalized on March 28, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., and operations will commence from March 29, 2025.
With the addition of this solar project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has now reached 13,700.3 MW, reinforcing its position as a leading player in India’s green energy sector. The company remains committed to its mission of accelerating India’s transition to clean energy and achieving its target of 45 GW renewable capacity by 2030.
In the exchange filing, the company shared, “Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Limited, Wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of the Company has commissioned solar power project of 212.50 MW at Khavda, Gujarat. With commissioning of this plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 13,700.3 MW.”
Located in Gujarat’s Khavda region, a key renewable energy hub, this project is expected to significantly contribute to India’s sustainable power supply, reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental sustainability.
