A B Infrabuild Limited, a prominent infrastructure company, has successfully secured a significant contract from Western Railways for the construction and rebuilding of Foot Over Bridges (FOBs), elevated decks, and skywalks as part of the extension of the Harbour Line between Goregaon and Borivali stations in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This prestigious project marks a milestone for the company and will contribute to enhancing Mumbai’s railway infrastructure.
In accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, A B Infrabuild has confirmed that it has received the Letter of Acceptance for the project on November 25, 2024. The contract will involve the rebuilding of several crucial structures, including FOBs and skywalks, which are essential to improve pedestrian connectivity and safety across the rail network.
This project is part of the larger Harbour Line Extension (MUTP 3A) initiative aimed at improving the overall railway infrastructure in Mumbai, which will benefit thousands of commuters every day. The scope of work includes constructing and upgrading key transportation elements such as elevated decks and skywalks that will ensure smoother and safer transit for passengers.
