Central Bank of India has reported a substantial growth in its total business for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025-26, reaching ₹812,814 crore. This marks a year-on-year increase of 15.65% compared to the previous year’s audited figure of ₹702,798 crore.
The bank’s total deposits also saw a significant rise, reaching ₹467,885 crore, representing a 13.37% growth from the previous year’s figure of ₹412,697 crore. The current and savings account (CASA) deposits increased to ₹220,886 crore, a 9.80% rise compared to the same period last year. The CASA ratio, however, experienced a decline of 160 basis points year-on-year, settling at 47.31%.
Gross advances for the bank climbed to ₹344,929 crore, reflecting an 18.90% increase from the previous year’s figure of ₹290,101 crore. The credit-deposit (CD) ratio also improved, rising by 335 basis points year-on-year to 73.88%.
Quarter-on-quarter, the bank’s total business grew by 5.00%, with total deposits increasing by 3.84% and gross advances by 6.61%. The CASA deposits saw a 4.30% rise, while the CASA percentage improved by 18 basis points. Additionally, the CD ratio increased by 188 basis points compared to the previous quarter.
These provisional figures are subject to audit by the statutory central auditors of the bank.
