Bosch Limited, the flagship company of the Bosch Group in India, has announced its intention to acquire Private Limited. The acquisition aims to enhance ‘s portfolio by adding the Vehicle Motion business, strengthening its position in the Indian automotive sector. The company plans to complete the acquisition through a cash deal and issuance of equity shares on a preferential basis.

This strategic move will enable Bosch Limited to expand its mobility solutions, particularly in safety and braking systems, leveraging Bosch Chassis Systems’ expertise in active and passive safety systems. Bosch Chassis Systems India is recognised as a market leader in automotive safety systems, offering solutions such as antilock braking systems, electronic stability control, and new braking systems for various vehicle types.

Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of the Bosch Group in India and Managing Director of Bosch Limited, stated that the acquisition demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to growth through portfolio diversification. The integration of Bosch Chassis Systems will allow Bosch Limited to utilise its strengths in local research, development, and manufacturing to deliver enhanced mobility solutions.

Following the acquisition, Bosch Chassis Systems India will continue to operate as an independent entity under the governance of Bosch Limited. , Joint Managing Director of Bosch Limited and President of Bosch Mobility India, highlighted the evolving mobility landscape in India and the need for integrated solutions to meet future demands.

The acquisition has been approved by the boards of Bosch Group, Bosch Limited, and Bosch Chassis Systems India, and is subject to shareholder approval. Upon completion, Bosch Chassis Systems India will become a 100 percent subsidiary of Bosch Limited.
