Blinkit, a leading quick-commerce platform, has expanded its services by introducing a groundbreaking 10-minute ambulance booking service. Starting January 2, this service is exclusively available in Gurugram during its testing phase. Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced this initiative, emphasizing its potential to revolutionize emergency response across India.

The Blinkit app now allows users to book ambulances in critical situations, ensuring quick and reliable assistance. True to its promise, the ambulance will reach the booked location within 10 minutes. This swift response time aims to address the often-critical delays in emergency medical care.

Each Blinkit ambulance is equipped with state-of-the-art life-saving equipment, including oxygen cylinders, automated external defibrillators, stretchers, monitors, suction machines, and essential emergency medicines. A dedicated team comprising a trained paramedic, an assistant, and a driver ensures comprehensive care during emergencies.

Dhindsa highlighted Blinkit’s commitment to providing reliable and affordable emergency services, stating, “Our aim is to respond swiftly and save lives without focusing on profit.” The service will gradually expand to other cities in the coming months, making it accessible to more users nationwide.

Gurugram residents can now see the option to book an ambulance directly via the Blinkit app, marking a significant step in integrating healthcare with technology. Blinkit’s foray into emergency services underscores its dedication to addressing essential community needs.
