Belrise Industries Limited (BIL), a prominent Indian automotive component manufacturer, has announced the acquisition of Chester Hall Precision Engineering Holdings Limited, a UK-based precision engineering group. The acquisition, executed through Belrise’s step-down wholly-owned subsidiary, Belrise UK Holdings Limited, marks a strategic entry into the global aerospace, space, and defence precision engineering supply chain.
Chester Hall specialises in machining aerostructures, aero-engine components, and satellite parts, maintaining strong relationships with major global aerospace customers. The company works with the world’s largest aircraft and space OEMs, as well as a leading French Aircraft Engine OEM, serving as a single-source supplier for most of its programmes. Chester Hall’s expertise spans a wide range of aerospace alloys and exotic materials, including titanium and high-grade aluminium, enabling the delivery of high-precision components.
The transaction was completed at an enterprise value (EV) of £13.2 million GBP, with Chester Hall generating revenues of approximately £18.5 million GBP. The acquisition is expected to be both EPS-accretive and ROCE accretive from day one, with a deferred consideration based on Chester Hall’s performance in CY26.
This strategic acquisition provides Belrise with instant access to advanced aerospace precision manufacturing capabilities and certifications, a platform to serve global aerospace OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, and a powerful integration of Belrise’s manufacturing excellence with Chester Hall’s precision engineering expertise.
Mr. Sumedh Badve, Head of Strategy at Belrise Industries, stated, “This acquisition marks a defining chapter in Belrise’s journey. We are expanding beyond automotive into one of the most technically demanding and fastest-growing global sectors, aerospace and defence. Chester Hall brings deep precision engineering capabilities and a sterling reputation within the aerospace supply chain.”
The acquisition will create a compelling cross-border engineering platform, anchored in India’s manufacturing scale and elevated by Chester Hall’s precision capabilities and aerospace supply chain positioning.
