Bata India Limited has announced the conclusion of its remote e-voting process for a postal ballot, which ended on May 23, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. (IST). The postal ballot sought approval from the company’s members for a resolution outlined in the notice dated April 15, 2026.
The voting was conducted exclusively through electronic means, in line with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, and the relevant rules and circulars issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The notice for the postal ballot was sent electronically to members whose names appeared in the Register of Members or List of Beneficial Owners as of April 17, 2026, and who had registered their email addresses with the company or its registrar and transfer agent.
The scrutiniser is expected to submit a report on the voting process as mentioned in the notice. Following the submission of this report, the results of the postal ballot will be communicated as per the outlined procedure.
