Astra Microwave Products Limited has announced that its joint venture company, Astra Rafael Comsys Private Limited, has secured an order valued at ₹250.58 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The order, dated 1st April 2026, involves the supply of Software Defined Radio (SDR) for HAL in Bangalore.
The agreement, which includes taxes, is expected to be executed within 18 months. Astra Microwave Products Limited will receive a portion of the business from this order through its joint venture with Astra Rafael Comsys Private Limited.
The order was awarded by a domestic entity, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, and does not involve any related party transactions. Furthermore, neither the promoters nor the promoter group of Astra Microwave have any interest in the entity awarding the contract.
This significant contract underscores Astra Microwave’s capabilities in the defence communication sector, particularly in providing advanced radio solutions.
