
The pandemic has resulted in a global economic slowdown but most online and tech ventures are doing pretty well.
After seeing a record high in its profits from April to June and increased demand, Amazon has decided to hire 100,000 more employees to meet with the surging demand.
While Amazon hires additional staff pre-holidays, they announced that this hiring will be different.
These employees will be hired for both part-time as well as full-time roles.
Amazon is hiring 100,000 full and part-time employees across the U.S. and Canada, offering starting wages of at least $15 an hour.
