With a lot of activity surrounding crypto regulations and CBDC debuts in established economies, Web3 usage appears to be accelerating globally. The Near Foundation and China’s Alibaba Group have partnered with the goal of promoting the expansion of Web3 in Asia. To enable developers expand on its blockchain infrastructure, the Near Foundation essentially wants to employ Alibaba’s Cloud products. The development occurs at a time when more Web3 players are focusing on the technologically advanced and heavily populated Asian continent.
The Near Foundation, a non-profit organisation with a headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, manages the funds, expansion, and central administration of the Near blockchain.
The Near Foundation wants to persuade more Web3 developers to adopt their blockchain as a support for their services and goods.
The company’s collaboration with Alibaba Cloud hopes to persuade Chines anti-crypto developers to join the Web3 bandwagon as well.
As part of their collaboration, Alibaba Cloud and the Near Foundation will provide remote procedure calls (RPC) as a service to developers using the Near ecosystem.
A report published by Coindesk on Monday, June 26 stated that among othercapabilities, the RPC, a kind of computer server, enables users to read blockchain data.
Aside from that, the infrastructure supplied by Alibaba Cloud will allow Web3 developers to utilise Near’s Blockchain Operating System (BOS) to expand upon and connect with other users of the ecosystem.
