Asian markets : China’s Major Indices See Mixed Response as SSE Composite Drops 0.65%

China’s stock market showed a mixed performance today as key indices witnessed varying levels of decline. The SSE Composite Index dropped 0.65% to settle at 3,364.48, reflecting bearish sentiment in the broader market. Meanwhile, the Shenzhen Component Index registered a smaller dip of 0.25%, closing at 10,547.93, showcasing a slightly resilient performance.

The SZSE Composite Index faced more significant pressure, falling 1.54% to 2,017.56. Market analysts noted that sectors with smaller market capitalization experienced pronounced losses, which was reflected in the CSI 1000 Index, sliding 2.05% to finish at 6,148.55.
