Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi reaffirmed China’s commitment to a neutral and fair position regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Speaking on Friday, he emphasized China’s consistent advocacy for peace talks and negotiations as a means to resolve the crisis.
Wang highlighted that China has maintained its objective approach throughout the conflict, seeking to support diplomatic solutions rather than taking sides. He pointed out that peace and stability in the region are crucial not only for Ukraine and Russia but also for global security and economic development.
The minister reiterated that dialogue is essential to address the underlying issues of the conflict. He urged all parties involved to engage in constructive discussions and emphasized that military confrontation would not lead to a lasting solution. Instead, Wang called for a focus on mutual understanding and compromise.
