The Hong Kong stock market faced a mixed response today, with all major indices recording losses. The Hang Seng Index (HSI) dropped 0.50%, closing at 19,871.55 HKD. Technology stocks contributed significantly to the downturn, as reflected by the Hang Seng TECH Index’s 0.84% decline to 4,442.10 HKD.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI), which tracks Chinese companies listed in Hong Kong, slid 0.22% to 7,170.46 HKD. The Hang Seng China 50 Index, denominated in USD, fell 0.21% to 7,431.37.
