While the daily performance was negative, the broader trajectory of the index has shown recovery in recent months. Over the past five days, the index increased by 1.14%, and it rose by 1.95% over the last month. On a six-month basis, the index posted an impressive growth of 20.19%.
Year-to-date, the index has advanced by 17.78%, while the one-year performance reflected a strong 20% gain. However, longer-term data highlighted challenges, with the five-year performance showing a sharp decline of 35.36%. Since inception, the Hang Seng TECH Index has fallen 35.25%.
