Star Cement Limited has announced the acquisition of 100% shareholding in Private Limited (JRPPL) through its subsidiary, North East Limited (). This strategic move marks JRPPL as a wholly owned subsidiary of SCNEL and a step-down subsidiary of Star Cement. The acquisition was completed with a cash consideration of ₹20,000.

Jaitaran Renewable Power, a private company incorporated on 11th March 2026, operates within the energy and power sector. Although the company has not yet generated turnover, it aims to diversify Star Cement’s business into renewable energy, aligning with its strategic initiatives.

The acquisition does not involve any related party transactions, and no governmental or regulatory approvals were required. The shares were transferred on 23rd April 2026, solidifying the acquisition’s completion.

Jaitaran Renewable Power is registered at Signature Tower, , Rajasthan, and holds an authorised share capital of ₹10 lakh, with a paid-up share capital of ₹0.20 lakh.
