G R Infraprojects Limited has entered into an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) agreement with NTPC Limited for the implementation of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at NTPC Thermal Power Stations, specifically the Mouda Super Thermal Power Station (Mouda). The agreement, executed on 23rd April 2026, marks a significant step in the enhancement of energy storage capabilities at the thermal power station.
The total contract price for the project stands at ₹413.37 crore, exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The project is set to be completed within a period of 15 months from the appointed date, underscoring the commitment of both parties to timely execution and operational efficiency.
This collaboration between G R Infraprojects and NTPC is poised to bolster the energy infrastructure at the Mouda Super Thermal Power Station, contributing to more robust and reliable power supply solutions.
