Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has successfully operationalised a 292 MW solar power project in Khavda, Gujarat, through its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited (AGE26AL). This development marks a significant milestone in AGEL’s renewable energy portfolio.
With the commissioning of this project, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has reached 19,585.8 MW. Additionally, the company has achieved a total operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 1,376 MWh. The decision to operationalise the plant and commence power generation was made at 7.37 p.m. on April 22, 2026, with power generation starting from April 23, 2026.
This expansion aligns with AGEL’s strategic vision to enhance its renewable energy capacity and contribute to sustainable energy solutions. The Khavda solar project is expected to play a crucial role in meeting the growing demand for clean energy in the region.
