Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles added 1.7% to settle at ₹362.1.

Hindalco Industries moved up 1.7%, ending at ₹1,038.6.

Jio Financial Services advanced 1.6% to ₹238.4.

Adani Enterprises gained 1.4%, closing at ₹2,258.0.

Eternal rose 1.1% to ₹262.3.

Nestlé India edged higher by 1.0%, settling at ₹1,394.1.

UltraTech Cement increased 0.8% to close at ₹12,140.0.

Market Context

The gains in these stocks came against a weak broader market trend, where benchmark indices ended lower. Defensive sectors such as FMCG saw buying interest, while select metal and auto stocks also recorded modest gains.
